In the months of January-October 2022, the average monthly nominal salary of wage workers in the country’s economy was 827.9 manats.
Banker.az reports with reference to DSK that the average monthly salaries of employees in the field of finance and insurance in the country have increased.
The salary in the oil and gas sector was 3409.2 manats, and in the non-oil and gas sector it was 778.5 manats. The wages of employees working in state enterprises were 780.7 manats, and in private enterprises 880.9 manats.
The average monthly nominal salary of workers in the mining industry was 3,263.1 manats. According to official records, this amount was 3,959.4 manats in private enterprises, while it was less than 2,080.4 manats in state enterprises.
In the months of January-October 2022, the average monthly wages of those working in the field of finance and insurance were 2,066.8 manats, those working in the state were 2,211.6 manats, and those working in the private sector were 2,029.4 manats.
The next profitable field was the field of professional, scientific and technical activity. The average monthly nominal income of those operating here was 1,392.4 manats. Those working in the private sector earned 1,971.9 manats, while those working in the public sector earned 876.6 manats.
Another profitable sector is information and communication. The average monthly nominal income of employees in this field is 1,332.7 manats. The average monthly nominal income in state enterprises was 1,115.1 manats, while the salary in private enterprises was 1,527 manats.
The average monthly salary in the field of public administration and defense, social security was 1,168.7 manats. While the salary in state enterprises was 1,207.7 manats, it was 386.9 manats in the private sector.
Central Bank: The current account balance will be in surplus next year as well
A surplus in the current account of the balance of payments is expected in 2023.

More than 5 billion manats have been invested in Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park

The December issue of “Export Review” states that the income of “Azerkosmos” from the export of services made up 82 percent of its total income. In November 2022, “Azerkosmos” exported services worth 2.3 million US dollars to 34 countries of the world.
The top five exports of satellite telecommunication and optical satellite services during January-November 2022 are the United Kingdom with 6 million US dollars, France with 5.3 million US dollars, Luxembourg with 4 million US dollars, 2.1 million US dollars UAE and Pakistan with 1.3 million USD.
Movable property worth more than 15,000 manats – WILL BE PURCHASED WITHOUT CASH
The purchase and sale of movable property with a total amount of more than 15 thousand manats will be carried out only in a cashless manner.
It was reflected in the new Article 3.4.16 proposed to the law “On Cashless Settlements”, which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis.
According to the project, payments for the purchase and sale of movable property registered in the official registers (excluding car sales) with a total amount of more than 15 thousand manats will be made only in cashless manner.
If the law is adopted, it will enter into force on February 1, 2023.
The bill was put to a vote and adopted in the third reading.
