More than 5 billion manats have been invested in Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park

So far, the residents of Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, which is managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy, have invested more than 5.3 billion manats and plan to invest more than 300 million manats.

Report informs that Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said this on Twitter.

According to him, these investments are intended to create more than 2,000 permanent jobs:

“It is the 11th anniversary of the establishment of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park. Industrial parks make important contributions to sustainable economic growth, development of the non-oil sector and ensuring employment. More than 6,000 people are provided with permanent jobs in the park,” the minister noted.
