It should be recalled that on January 6, 2021, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree “On the establishment of the “Fourth Industrial Revolution Analysis and Coordination Center” public legal entity under the Ministry of Economy.” According to the decree, a public legal entity “Analysis and Coordination Center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution” was established under the Ministry of Economy. The center will carry out cooperation and coordination with Azerbaijan and international organizations operating in the field of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as well as the analysis and coordination of challenges, initiatives, strategies and projects on the digital economy.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution has emerged since the beginning of the 21st century based on the achievements of digital technologies. This revolution involves autonomous decision-making of cyber-physical systems through cloud-based machine learning in manufacturing. This enables the emergence of “smart factories” that can autonomously make decisions about market research, production and sales.
